Presently State enterprise Scientific Research Technological Institute of Instrument Engineering has been carrying out research and development activities in the fields:
- Space techniques: development and manufacturing solar batteries, development and manufacturing of control and verifying equipment, development of manufacturing of radioelectronic units for space systems technologies based on modern element base, information orientation sensors for spacecrafts;
- Defense technology: hardware devices of sensors and control systems for tanks and armored personnel carriers;
- Development and manufacturing detector modules and their components for international experiments;
- Civil production: development and production of devices and equipment for agrimotor vehicles, including combines, tractors and bulldozers.
