- protection of the legal rights of private owners and entrepreneurs-members of the Union;
- combination of their efforts for implementation of the economic activity based on private ownership in the region;
- assistance to the members of the Union in setting up businesses, organizations;
- close co-operation with the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship;
- proposals on improvement of the tax legislation, its lobbying in Verkhovna Rada;
- legal advice to the Union members and other citizens, provision of the Union members with legal, methodic literature and information;
- organization of seminars, conferences and exhibitions, etc.
