Owens-Illinois is the world's largest glass container manufacturer.

Owens-Illinois or its affiliates produce over 50% of all glass containers manufactured world-wide. We serve a client list that includes all of the major users of glass containers in the world.

A wholly-owned subsidiary was opened with an office in Kyiv to represent the company interests and primarily offer the production from factories in Central and Eastern Europe. Customers needing bottles for horilka/vodka, beer, wine, juice, mineral water and soft drinks, or jars for food produce can choose from many hundreds of items produced by O-I factories.

The key objective is to provide the bottles and jars to enable Ukrainian producers to compete on a retail level with attractively packaged imported goods that are frequently of poorer intrinsic quality. It is also crucial to help re-establish Ukraine as a major exporter of food and drinks products and the glass container is an important part of the presentation of the product to international markets.
