The corporation "Ukrtransbud" is one of the major construction complexes of Ukraine in which structure 66 enterprises enter. It was established in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 21.01.1992 # 26 on the basis of organizations former Soviet Union Ministry of Transport Construction, that located on the territory of Ukraine, for maintenance of needs (requirements) of a national economy in development of a transport network and coordination of common activity of the enterprises -members on designing and construction of objects of transport.

The enterprises and organizations, which are included into structure of corporation, have wide experience of work on transport objects in Ukraine and behind her limits. They participated in designing and construction of transport projects in Bulgaria, Vietnam, Syria, Gvinea, Irag, Finland, Cuba, Turkey, Argentine, Georgia, Russia and other countries.

The corporation has large experience in complex construction of architectonic ensembles, as for example, Palace lf«Ukraine", Central railway station and Borispol airport in inKiev, ferry Illychevsk-Varna and Illychevsk -Poti, seaports and hydraulic engineering and coastal structures in Odessa, Illychevsk, Nikolaev etc. Thousands kilometres of new railway lines and second ways, hundred of kilometres of highways.

In 2001 the corporation completed constructing a landing strip with a complex of servicing premises for "Boryspil" International Aiport (Boryspil, Ukraine). The Complex meets ISO requirements for III-A category and is one of the best in Europe (#1 strip length makes up 4 000 m., width makes up 60 m). We also timely and with excellent quality performed and put into operation a grain-processing terminal in the Illichevsk port and an oil terminal in Odessa.
Now enterprises and organizations, which enter the corporation perform designing and construction-mounting works on bridge construction in Turkmenistan.

Perspective directions of cooperation with foreign partners:
- Construction and electrification of iron roads with arrangement of automatics and communication(connection), since design and exploration work before delivery of object "on a turn-key basis"/up to 200 kms for one year/; construction of the second ways and repair of iron roads;
- Structure both reconstruction of the airports and air stations, including air-landing strips; Construction and repair of highways;
- Structure of sea and river ports, moorings, hydraulic engineering and coastal structures;
- Performance dredge works;
- Construction and reconstruction of industrial, civil objects and habitation;
- Project and research work.

The corporation has the advanced base on manufacture of special modular ferro-concrete and metal structures for objects of railway and road transport, industrial and housing construction.
