Ukrainian Centre for Railway Services (UCRS) was founded in 1985. The main spheres of its business are complex servicing of railway passengers and high-quality servicing of passengers buying railway tickets. UCRS offers:
- advance sales of single and return tickets for direct, interstate and intercity trains, advance reception of reservation orders from organizations and companies; ticket reservation over the telephone (050); tickets delivery; hotel reservation for transit passengers;
- inquiry-information service which works 24 hours (tel. 005) and gives information on trains arrival and departure times, tickets cost and regulations.
- a group of active observation operates at UCRS which carries out analysis of traffic flow, forecasting and regulation of train schemes; assignment and cancellation of trains, hooking and setoff of additional carriages according to the number of passengers.
- three-star-hotel "Express". There is a recreational centre with modern sauna, sports trainers, billiards, etc.
- modern conference hall equipped with language-interpreting system, necessary for comprehensive servicing of seminars, symposiums and meetings.
