Ladyzhyn (Vinnytsya Region) Plant of Limestone Brick has celebrated 30th anniversary in August, 2006 and its main activity is production of white limestone brick of different standard size and form. White brick is aesthetically beautiful, comfortable, ecologically friendly and besides reliably, in fact it has higher durability on pressure and bend, best frost-resistance, lower percent of water absorption than red brick. For years of hard work the workers produced almost 2,4 bln. bricks and blocks. It is important that Ladyzhyn workers succeeded to save production and collective in the difficult conditions of market economy. Lately the company has been changed greatly. In 1998 the plant commissioned the packing line of limestone wares in polyethylene stretch film; due to that the products do not lose marketable view during long-term storage and transporting to customers.
The plant also works on expansion of production range. Now they produce ordinary, single, shape, extra-thick, chipped, capping brick, blocks for fence and cored tile. And all of it can be white, yellow, red and grey colour. In addition, they master production of porous concrete. The novelty will be produced in blocks, one of which will replace 21 standard brick and will weigh 18 kg. Such blocks have good heat-trapping capability. It is also important to mark that mouth between joints will be not more than 1 mm, so it is necessary to carefully fill and whiten – and this a European repair.
The plant administration does not forget that whoever does not go head so he is regressed, so they quiveringly behave to introduction of computerizing, newest technologies and modern equipment, aim to further production competitiveness increase.
The collective of Ladyzhyn Plant of Limestone Brick is over 500 workers, including veterans of labour and youth gladly refining profession. It is pleasant to mark that the company has real working dynasties. Ladyzhyn workers with pleasure work in the limestone plant, in fact here plant administration cares of them and attentively behave to their problems. The important factor is constantly risen proper wage. The plant also settles housing problem – 24 flat building has been recently constructed.
Chairman of the Board of Open Joint-Stock Company «Ladyzhyn Plant of Limestone Brick» Serhiy V. Kolyasa is a real manager. Young but with unordinary organizational capabilities manager aims to do the enterprise one of the best in the field of building materials. It is planned to commission new production sections and workshops, in particular on foam concrete production. The activity of manager is directed on that the workers of the plant will be confident in tomorrow and live well and be healthy. For this purpose the enterprise has sport-health complex and first-aid post. The plant workers can rest at the seaside in summer.
Ladyzhyn Plant of Limestone Brick actively participates in many exhibitions and presentations of building materials. The plant has individual approach to every client. The plant products are popular not only in Vinnytsya Region but practically in all regions of Ukraine, especially in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovs'k, Kirovograd, Mykolayiv, Khmelnitsky and Odessa regions. They have recently set supply of brick to Moldova and Romania.
The collective of the enterprise can confirm its high reputation. Among prestige rewards there is International Prize for Quality and Enterprise Prestige «Arch of Europe» (year 2000), Diploma of the Second International Exhibition-Conference «Restructuring of Habitation-2000», International Reward «Crystal Dragon» in nomination «Leader of XXI century» and «Company of XXI century» (year 2001), Honorary Reward «Gold Jaguar» for irreproachable reputation in business (year 2001), Laureate of the National Competition «Higher Test» for production of high-quality competitive limestone brick.

Much of that workers plan to do has been already done. Yet more work is ahead. Not stopping the people work for those, who aims to build good and unique habitation and for those, who will be long and happily living in it.
