The quarry develops the Banychy field of high-clean quartz by open-cut method.
Productive capacity is 80-100 thousand tons of lump quartz a year (fracted to 20-90 mm.) Production of ground quartz fracted to 0-5 mm. is being developed. Granulometric and chemical composition of lump quartz:
- silicon oxide SiO2 min 99%
- alumina Al3O3 max 0.25%
- ferric oxide Fe2O3 max 0.15%
- calx CaO max 0.05%
Lump size (mm) 20-90 mm
- size 20 max 6%
- size 90 max 10%
Additives content (sand inclusions, clays) max 3%

Supplies are carried out in gondola-cars in bulk

The main consumers:
Zaporizhzhya aluminum industrial complex - silicon production
Novolypetsk metallurgic industrial complex - ferrosilicon production
Sumy Research and Production Association - induction steel-smelting furnace lining;

The quarry can additionally sell 3-5 thousand tons of lump quartz monthly.
