Enterprise "Micron" was formed in 1991 to deal with and put into practice scientific inventions, mostly those of the company founder-Logvin V.A.; to produce and introduce new equipment, primarily, multi-purpose autonomous microprocessor-based devices (mini profile meters, mini profilegraph meters, diaprofile meters) for on-line diagnostics of micro- and macrogeometry (roughness, waveness, diameters, defectiveness of shape) of any surfaces, including the curved surfaces oriented arbitrarily in space and in hard-to-reach places of large-size parts.
Besides the enterprise "Micron" deals with elaboration and production of devices (stroboscopes) for quick one- or twoplane balancing of rotors in their own bearings and also the development and introduction of friction machines (stands) for accelerated dynamic tests of rubbing parts, particularly, bearings of combustion engines, the principles of operation of which have been described and defended by V.A.Logvin's dissertation.
