Founded back in 1939 on the base of reorganized "Ajax" Factory, set up in 1913, the company initially consisted of a foundry shop for ferrous and non-ferrous casting. In 1929 the company was sold to a Czech firm “A. Kunz” specializing in manufacturing of anti-fire and sanitary equipment. From the year 1945 and on the company has been dealing with production of gas valves, diesel heads and foundry items.

The production line manufacturing wedge-shaped inserts was initiated in 1962. The enterprise acquires the status of the monopolist and starts exporting steel inserts and valves to Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, India, Iran, Iraq.

Company products:
- Flanged cast-steel wedge-type gate valve with rising stem (3KL2): used as a pressure-tight shut-off device on the pipelines conveying liquid and gaseous petroleum products, as well as water and steam at temperatures up to 4250 C and a nominal pressure PN=1,6 na(16kgf/cm2 ).
- Ball valves 11c67p: are used as locking device for industrial pipelines transporting liquid and gaseous non-aggressive oil products, liquid and gaseous products of oil wells, liquid and gaseous inert substances, natural gas, water.
- Ball valves 11B33p and 11ch42p.:are used as locking device for pipelines transporting liquid and gaseous substances, the material of the valves being corrosion-resistant to the aforementioned substances, natural gas.

At present, the enterprise proceeds with manufacturing of piping fittings, which is marketed in Ukraine and CIS countries and keeps its leading position in this field.
